A very special book from FSWL contributor Marc Hernandez, with a foreword by director John Glen, is now available from the The Great British Book Shop website. The book is filled with personal anecdotes, location directions, and never before published photos - the ultimate guide to James Bond's adventures at Nene Valley Railway in the UK. The book is designed by FSWL reader Martijn Mulder, the man behind On The Tracks of 007, and published by DMD Digital.

On the Train Tracks: Filming Octopussy & GoldenEye at Nene Valley Railway tells the story of how a preserved heritage railway line 70 miles north of London became an unlikely filming location and details its association with the world of James Bond.

Featuring never-before-seen photographs and unique stories from the railway staff, volunteers and extras involved, On the Train Tracks is a scrapbook of memories that captures what happens when the Bond film circus comes to your town, the legacy it leaves behind and how the railway continues to attract visitors keen to see where filming took place.
