Swiss production manager Stefan Zürcher worked on eight of the James Bond films between 1969 and 2015 - On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, GoldenEye, The World Is Not Enough, Quantum of Solace och Spectre. Weber Verlag in Switzerland is now publishing his memoirs. Foreword by producer Barbara Broccoli.

Stefan Zürcher, or The Snowman as he's affectionaly called by those who worked with him, rode a sled with Pierce Brosnan, went golfing with Sean Connery, drank red wine with Friedrich Dürrenmatt, went hiking with Jon Voight, served as a double for Robert Redford, and was the first to descend the racecourse of the Ski World Cup Wengen with a camera for Swiss television.

After an exceptional 55-year career in the movie business, Stefan Zürcher tells stories of hair-raising stunts and ludicrous shenanigans on film locations, the likes of which can only happen in the world of cinema.

The life story of this Bernese Oberländer shows what happens behind the scenes of unforgettable movie classics: how he bulldozed the dunes of the Sahara for Warren Beatty, went on a pub crawl with Liza Minelli on Hamburg’s Reeperbahn or almost froze to death in an igloo on orders from James Bond, and much more!
