Sardinia: Dreaming of Naomi

Sardinia
I went to Sardinia for one week of vacation with my friend Mona in August 2003.

The island was one the filming locations the producers used while filming the epic The Spy Who Loved Me (1977).

Unfortunately we were too lazy to rent a car, because of the sun and too many drinks I believe, to go to the north east coast to explore the traces from Jaws and others.

These should be found around the area of Porto Cervo, also called Costa Smeralda.

Next time I go to Sardinia, I will stay like Bond at either Hotel Cala di Volpe or Hotel Pitrizza.

Other locations that was used for the filming of The Spy Who Loved Me and are worth visiting for all Bond travellers:

Baffin Island (Canada)
The Bahamas (underwater scenes)
Karnak Temple (in Egypt)
