Thailand
My friend Christina Carlsson and her boyfriend travelled to James Island in Phang Nga Bay outside of Phuket in 2002.

Christina said it was fantastic although the island is not very big, but, very much into selling James Bond related souvenirs because of its connection with the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun. Part of the film, co-starring Swedish actresses Maud Adams and Britt Ekland, was shot on the island in 1974.

Another friend of mine, Lotta Mide, visited James Bond Island three years after Christina. She has also contributed with a couple of photos.

Hopefully, I will get the chance to go there myself some day as I would love to taste a certain mushroom soap and enjoy the beaches in the sun.

Other locations that was used for the filming of The Man with the Golden Gun and are worth visiting for all Bond travellers:

Bovingdon Airfield
Hong Kong
The Peninsula Hotel (in Hong Kong)
Mandarin Oriental Bangkok
