Starcon at Kempton Park Racecourse with 40 Bond guests

Over the 23-24 September 2006 weekend, new show organiser Jim Carman and his team hosted Starcon UK. The event was held at Kempton Park Racecourse near Heathrow outside of London with three of the Swedish Bond girls in attendance - Britt Ekland, Maud Adams & Mary Stavin.

In total, 83 celebrity guests attended the event including 42 Bond related ones! (The highest number of Bond people ever at a collector show.)

• Albert Moses, he played the roles as ‘Bar man’ in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME and ‘Sadruddin’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Alison Worth, she played the roles as ‘Pool girl’ in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY and ‘Octopussy girl’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Alkis Kritikos, he played the role as ‘Santos’ in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
• Britt Ekland, she played the role as ‘Mary Goodnight’ in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN
• Burt Kwouk, he played the role as ‘Mr Ling’ in GOLDFINGER except being most well-known for his role as ‘Cato’ in the Pink Panther film series
• Carole Ashby, she played the role as ‘Octopussy girl’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Caroline Bliss, she played the role as ‘Miss Moneypenny’ in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS and LICENCE TO KILL
• Caroline Munro, she played the role as ‘Naomi’ in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME
• David Decio, he played the roles as ‘Mr Kil’s personal assistant’ in DIE ANOTHER DAY and ‘Stand in for Kratt’ in CASINO ROYALE
• David Meyer, he played the role as ‘Grischka’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Derek Lyons, he played the roles as ‘US Air Force Base Officer’ in OCTOPUSSY, ‘Mine Strike mine man’ in A VIEW TO A KILL, ‘MI6 Agent’ in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS and ‘Casino Guest’ in GOLDENEYE
• Earl Cameron, he played the role as ‘Pinder’ in THUNDERBALL
• Eunice Gayson, she played the role as ‘Sylvia Trench’ in both DR NO and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
• George Leech, stuntman who worked on many Bond films
• Helene Hunt, she played the role as ‘Octopussy girl’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Jan Williams, she played the role as ‘Masseuse’ in FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
• Jenny Hanley, she played the role as ‘The Irish girl’ in ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE
• Jeremy Bulloch, he played the role as ‘Smithers’ in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY and OCTOPUSSY

• Mary Stavin, she played the roles as ‘Octopussy girl’ in OCTOPUSSY and ‘Kimberley Jones’ in A VIEW TO A KILL
• Maryam d’Abo, she played the role as ‘Kara Milovy’ in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS
• Maud Adams, she played the roles as ‘Andrea Anders’ in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN and ‘Octopussy’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Norman Wanstall, Oscar winning sound editor who worked on many Bond films
• Shane Rimmer, he played the roles as ‘Hawaii radar operator’ in YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, ‘Tom’ in DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and ‘Commander Carter’ in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME
• Shirley Eaton, she played the role as ‘Jill Masterson’ in GOLDFINGER
• Tania Mallet, she played the role as ‘Tilly Masterson’ in GOLDFINGER
• Terry Mountain, he played the role as ‘Raphael’ in ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE
• Thomas Wheatley, he played the role as ‘Saunders’ in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS
• Tony Meyer, he played the role as ‘Mischka’ in OCTOPUSSY
• Valerie Leon, she played the role as ‘Hotel Receptionist’ in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME

Actor Julian Glover (who in 1981 played one of the major Bond villains in the series, ‘Aris Kristatos’ in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY), actress Mollie Peters (who in 1965 played ‘Patricia Fearing’ in THUNDERBALL) and Cheryl Anne (one of the girls in OCTOPUSSY) were also scheduled to attend but had to cancel in the last minute.
