James Bond artwork: The name's Cockburn. Nick Cockburn.

FSWL reader Nick Cockburn, married to a Swedish woman and living in Sweden, has worked as a professional graphic designer for 35 years and been a James Bond collector for 10 years. He's now combinded the two and created some truly unique artworks.

British-born Nick Cockburn is a contemporary artist who regularly exhibits his work in galleries and shows. Nick has appeared on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year and on That’s Surrey TV.

He has always been a Bond fan and grew up watching the Sean Connery and Roger Moore films with his Father. Nick’s favourite Bond films are Goldfinger (1964), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Casino Royale (2006). He has a collection of first edition Ian Fleming Bond books and the Movie Posters too.

In 2020, Nick Cockburn created a fantastic work of art featuring the six actors who have portrayed Ian Fleming's James Bond in EON Production's iconic film series.

The original painting sold very quickly but he has limited edition prints available to buy here.

Nick struggles to pick his favourite Bond actor as he feels they all have unique qualities and appeal. That’s why painting all 6 was the easy decision! “I have painted Sean Connery the most for customers and if pushed would say he is the ultimate Bond... but Daniel Craig in Casino Royale did bring the grit and realism which was very refreshing!”, Nick said.
