The Los Angeles Film Critics Association has chosen Max von Sydow as the recipient of this year’s Career Achievement award. The 88-year-old Swedish-born actor will next be seen in Kursk, a drama about the submarine disaster of 2000, directed by Thomas Vinterberg and co-starring Lea Seydoux (Doctor Madeleine Swann in the 2015 James Bond film SPECTRE) and Colin Firth.
