Swedish actor Ola Rapace signed to star in a new line of films based on the Roland Hassel character

Olov Svedelid's iconic police character Roland Hassel is set to return in a new original series on Viaplay and TV3. The lead role will be played by Swedish star Ola Rapace who portrayed Patrice in the 2012 James Bond film SKYFALL. Commenting on the news, Ola Rapace said: "Roland Hassel is a great character and I look forward to a modern, Swedish police series that want nothing more than to accompany the Friday drink."
