Following a press announcement at Pinewood Studios on 4th December 2014, action was called for the first time on the 24th James Bond film, SPECTRE, on Monday 8th December.

The production will take the cast and crew to various places around the world, from London and Pinewood Studios to Austria (Lake Altausee, Obertilliach and Sölden), Italy (Rome), Mexico City and Morocco (Tangier and Erfoud).

In SPECTRE, Daniel Craig portrays James Bond for the 4th time. He is joined by an extremely talented cast including Andrew Scott (Denbigh), Ben Whishaw (Q for the second time in the series), Christoph Waltz (Oberhauser), Dave Bautista (Mr Hinx), Léa Seydoux (Madeleine Swann), Monica Bellucci (Lucia Sciarra), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny for the second time), Ralph Fiennes (M for the second time) and Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner for the 3rd time).

The film is being directed by acclaimed British director Sam Mendes, who also directed Skyfall (2012), and produced by Eon Productions headed by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

SPECTRE will be shot on Kodak Motion Picture Film and not digital which was the case with Skyfall.
