A celebration of the lovely and Academy Award nominated actress Rosamund Pike, James Bond girl Miranda Frost in the 2002 film Die Another Day opposite Pierce Brosnan as Ian Fleming's 007, on her 40th birthday (GoldenEye actor Alan Cumming celebrates his 54th birthday the same day). This year, Rosamund co-stars in The Informer together with Swedish Hollywood actor Joel Kinnaman.

About British actress Rosamund Pike


The acclaimed British stage and film actress Rosamund Pike was born in London's Hammersmith on 27th January 1979.

Rosamund's first film role was in 1998's A Rather English Marriage co-starring Bond alumni Albert Finney and Joanna Lumley. She then appeared in three television series before landing one of the Bond girl roles in the 2002 James Bond film.

Other notable film credits include Pride & Prejudice (2005) with Dame Judi Dench (M in seven Bond films), Fracture (2007) with Anthony Hopkins, Surrogates (2009) with Bruce Willis, and the James Bond spoof Johnny English Reborn (2011) with Rowan Atkinson (Nigel Small-Fawcett in the 1983 Bond film Never Say Never Again). In 2012, she co-starred in Wrath of the Titans with Liam Neeson and in Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise. She was reunited with Pierce Brosnan in both The World's End (2013) and A Long Way Down (2014).

In 2011, Pike co-starred in the two-part mini-series Women in Love opposite Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner in three James Bond films - Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and SPECTRE).

Rosamund Pike is also a popular voice-over artist. In 2012, she read the audiobook for Ian Fleming's tenth 007 novel, The Spy Who Loved Me.

Pike also continues to return to her roots on the London theater scene despite considerable success on the silver screen throughout her acting career.
