As all Bond fans know, Mr. Dix portrayed agent Hamilton in the 007 film from 1973 - Live and Let Die (1973). Also worth knowing is that mr Dix was under contract with MGM in Hollywood at the same time as Roger Moore during the 50s and 60s, they remain friends up until this day.

This book tells the story of two generations of actors; Robert Dix and his father, Richard Dix.

Robert Dix grew up in his father's world, surrounded by the glamour of early Hollywood. Being the son of Richard Dix, one of the worlds's most loved and admired Hollywood actors opened the doors, Robert was acting under contract to MGM Studios at the age of eighteen.
