Honey Ryder in DR NO 1962 and
Vesper Lynd in the James Bond spoof CASINO ROYALE 1967
The first time I had the genuine pleasure of meeting the lovely Ursula Andress was during a weekend at Radisson Edwardian Hotel near Heathrow Airport in October 2005 accompanied by her son Dimitri (his father is American actor Harry Hamlin). An unforgettable experience.
Besides her iconic role as Honey Ryder in the first Bond film,
Dr. No (1962), she also portrayed Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the James Bond spoof,
Casino Royale (1967), opposite David Niven as James Bond.
(Ursula's part in the 1967 film is the same character that
Eva Green portrayed 39 years later in the official film
Casino Royale fully based on Ian Fleming's first novel with the same title.)
