Bond Girl Kara Milovy in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS 1987

I have met Maryam d’Abo at several occasions over the years.

The first time was in Northampton back in 2002. Then at the world premiere of Die Another Day (2002) at Royal Albert Hall in London. Again a few days later at a restaurant near St. James Park. Then at Pinewood Studios in 2005 and again at Kempton Park race course in September 2006.

Maryam is always very sweat and grateful for remembering her as one of the main love interests for 007 in the series.

Her enthusiasm for the James Bond phenomenon is visible in her own documentary Bond girls are forever which she made in 2002 by interviewing many Bond women over the world.

One of my favourite anecdotes from her is when she was asked by one of the guards, outside the cinema at Odeon Leicester Square in London at the premiere of The Living Daylights (1987), who she was! Her reply that she actually was the Bond girl in the film obviously made the guard quite embarrassed.
