Eon Productions major vehicle exhibition opened on January 17, 2012 at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu for the 50th anniversary of James Bond on film. The exhibit closes 5th January 2014.

The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu and EON Productions unveiled their plans at Empire presents Big Screen in August 2011 to hold the largest exhibition of James Bond vehicles ever displayed, to celebrate the 50th year of the Bond franchise.

The display at BIG SCREEN included the 2008 Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace (2008), the 2002 Jaguar XKR with SFX weapons from Die Another Day (2002), the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from GoldenEye (1995) (1995) and the 1937 Phantom lll Rolls-Royce from Goldfinger (1964) (1964). These are just a small selection of the 50 vehicles that will be on display at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu.

Beaulieu’s Commercial Director, Stephen Munn said, "Following the success of the first Bond cars exhibition staged at Beaulieu in 2001, we are delighted to be working with EON again on this new display, bringing together the world’s largest collection of Bond vehicles."

2012 also marks the 40th anniversary of the world-famous National Motor Museum, so it is fitting that in this special year it will be hosting a major new exhibition marking 50 years since the first James Bond film was screened.

Update January 4, 2012: Previously unseen vehicles debut at Bond In Motion
Among the vehicles now arriving for the exhibition are a number that have never before been seen in public. These include:

• The Ford Mustang Mach 1 from Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
• The villain Zukovsky’s Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II from The World Is Not Enough (1999)
• The vintage 1962 Rolls Royce, pushed into a lake by May Day (Grace Jones) and Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) with Bond still inside, in A View to a Kill (1985)
• The ‘Burial-At-Sea Bed’ from You Only Live Twice (1967)
• The Union Jack parachute which villain Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) used when he landed on The Mall in Die Another Day (2002)
• The surfboard with concealed weapons and ammunition from Die Another Day (2002)
• Casino Royale (2006) Skyfleet S570 model, based on a Boeing 747
• The original ‘Pig’ from The Living Daylights (1987), used to smuggle Koskov across the border through the Siberian Pipe Line

Bond in Motion will be the largest collection of James Bond vehicles (incl. boats, motorcycles and cars) the world has ever seen. Opening January 2012 at The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, Bond in Motion is a collaboration between EON Productions and Beaulieu and will feature fifty vehicles to celebrate fifty years of 007 movies.

Beaulieu are delighted to be working with EON on this new venture to mark the 60th anniversary of Beaulieu opening as a visitor attraction, 50th anniversary of the Bond franchise and 40th anniversary of the National Motor Museum.

To celebrate the opening of Bond in Motion they are giving one lucky winner the chance to win a two night break in the heart of the New Forest at The Master Builder's Hotel with entry to the Bond in Motion exhibition and rest of the Beaulieu attraction.

About The National Motor Museum:
The world-famous National Motor Museum at Beaulieu has a collection of over 250 vehicles telling the story of motoring on the roads of Britain from the dawn of motoring to the present day. There are historic racing cars, modern rally cars and the latest F1 machines as well as World Land Speed Record Breakers and family cars from every motoring era. Visitors to Beaulieu can also explore Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538 and 13th century Beaulieu Abbey as well as World of Top Gear. Open every day, except Christmas Day, from 10am.
