Om författaren:
John Pearson tog examen från Peterhouse Cambridge i Historia och arbetade sedan för Economist Intelligence Unit och även producent trainee på BBC innan han erbjöds ett jobb av Ian Fleming som hans assistent för "Atticus" kolumnen i Sunday Times.

Pearson är författare till - bland andra - den enda auktoriserade biografin om Ian Fleming, liksom bästsäljaren The Profession of Violence. Hans tidigare böcker med Century är One of the Family: The Englishman and the Mafia och The Gamblers. Han bor i London och West Sussex.
