Ben Willbond is a comedian, writer and producer, best known as one of the original cast members of the multiple-award-winning children’s TV show Horrible Histories. He co-wrote and starred in family adventure fantasy Yonderland (nominated for a Rose D’Or Award), feature film BILL and the hugely popular primetime comedy Ghosts in which Ben stars as the character “Captain”.
Ben’s array of TV credits include Playing House, Good Omens, BAFTA and Emmy-nominated sketch show Tracey Ullman’s Show, There She Goes, Quacks, Power Monkeys, Pointless Celebrities and The Thick of It. His film credits include Giles in Bridget Jones’ Baby, King of Thieves, Your Highness, Cemetery Junction, Starter for Ten, I Want Candy, Click, and St Trinian’s. He also wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in the multi-award-winning short film Tooty’s Wedding.
