The Bond River Chase map is a guide to every filming location featured in the thrilling boat pursuit from The World Is Not Enough (1999), where James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) chases Cigar Girl (Maria Grazia Cucinotta) through the River Thames in the unforgettable pre-title sequence.

Expect rapid terrain shifts and signature set pieces: the pursuit blasts past MI6 at Vauxhall, knifes by Parliament, dives beneath a closing bascule bridge, punches through a riverside restaurant, and culminates at the Millennium Dome (later renamed The O2 London) with a desperate balloon escape — each beat leaves a breadcrumb in London’s skyline for operatives to match on the ground.

“The World Is Not Enough is my favourite pre-titles of the Bond series. It has the most ambition, the most creativity and conveniently for me being a Londoner, it features a very long action sequence along the Thames. When I produced the first London Bond Map, it was never really my intention to produce a second that pulled an even greater focus on just one set-piece. However, a niche within a niche (within a niche) is never something that seems to detract from the pleasures of most fervent Bond fans. In fact, I find with the increasing saturation for better for worse of Bond content creators, the minutia of Bond really is the last pocket of interest where I can extract some joy.

This map was never intended to take as long as it did (the best of a year). But each day that I spent schlepping up and down the Thames for the purpose of taking one photo, reminded me of my cub scout days. Except the day I schlepped to Trinity Buoy Wharf (where Bond ski'd the Q Boat over a table of figs opposite the O2) in the pissing rain and wind. That just compounded my decision to press ahead with my Green Card application and live out the rest of my days in Florida. I do hope this map will be deemed a prudent investment for Bond location-buffs, and happy hunting.”
