Bollinger Special Cuvée i limiterad 007-design
To celebrate over 45 years of collaboration with James Bond, Bollinger Special Cuvée now meets a classic film icon. For a limited time, the champagne is being launched in an elegant 007 design – inspired by Bond’s world, with stylish aesthetics and iconic details. The bottle is available in Systembolaget’s range while stocks last.

Since Moonraker (1979), Champagne Bollinger has been the official champagne in the James Bond films. A collaboration that was founded back in 1956, when Bollinger was first mentioned in Ian Fleming’s novel Diamonds are Forever (1956). The collaboration is based on shared values such as elegance, craftsmanship and discretion, and has grown into one of the wine world’s longest-running partnerships.

Special Cuvée, the house’s signature champagne, is a natural expression of this. With a blend dominated by Pinot Noir (60%), complemented by Chardonnay (25%) and Meunier (15%), and with over 85% grapes from Grand and Premier Cru sites, the wine captures Bollinger’s powerful style. Over 60% of the blend consists of reserve wines, some aged in magnums for up to 15 years, which gives additional depth, maturity and complexity. Aging takes place twice as long as the appellation requires, and with a dosage of between 7–8 g/l, the wine gains structure, elegance and balance.

In the glass, the Special Cuvée offers a golden colour and elegant bubbles. The aroma is nuanced with hints of roasted apple, compote fruits and subtle spiciness. The taste is generous but finely tuned – with notes of pear, brioche and fresh walnuts, followed by a long and soft finish.

A limited design with 007 character

The limited edition is presented in an exclusive collector's packaging with a matte black box with golden details, subtle metallic embossing and a clear 007 identity. The design is inspired by Bond’s iconic intro scenes and features a circular gold motif with Bond’s silhouette at the centre of the front. The bottle’s neck bears the 007 logo, reinforcing the authenticity of this unique launch.

The launch coincides with the 40th anniversary of A View to a Kill (1985). Bollinger appears in several iconic scenes in the film, not least during a party at Max Zorin’s French estate.

A partnership based on a handshake and shared values

The relationship between Champagne Bollinger and James Bond is more than a brand collaboration – it is a trusting partnership between two family-owned institutions. It all began with a handshake between Christian Bizot, then head of Bollinger, and Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli, the producer behind the Bond films. The partnership is still active today and is as vibrant now as it was over four decades ago.
