The From Sweden with Love team are sad to hear about the passing of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa on 4th December 2025 at the age of 75. The actor, born in Japan, portrayed Kwang in Licence to Kill (1989) starring Timothy Dalton as Ian Fleming's 007. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

American actor Robert Davi, who worked with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa on Licence to Kill and again on The Dangerous (1995), left the following comment via X:

“Very sad to hear of the passing of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, he was a terrific actor and person!”
