Celebrate the publication of the new 007 book Darker than the Sun: An Atlas of James Bond Movie Locations with a launch party at Stanfords in London on Thursday 20th November 2025.

Join authors Matthew Field & Ajay Chowdhury for a unique, unmissable event, as they chat to Bond girls Martine Beswicke (From Russia with Love, Thunderball) and Caroline Munro (The Spy Who Loved Me) about their glamorous adventures filming the James Bond films around the world. Vic Armstrong, (action unit director) and Anthony Waye (Bond producer) will also be in attendance discussing their work.

The in-conversation event will be followed by a book signing. Spaces are limited, so please get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. The event will start promptly at 7.00pm. A ticket cost 25 GBP and includes the book and glass of wine/soft drink. Order a ticket before it's too late.

About the authors:


Matthew Field and Ajay Chowdhury are internationally renowned James Bond Historians and for the past 25 years have been regular commentators on all things 007. Together they have collaborated on numerous publications including Some Kind of Hero: Remarkable Story of the James Bond Films (2015) and Spy Octane: The Vehicles of James Bone Volume 1 (2024).
