The film premieres of The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale and Skyfall
(Published 2012-11-15)
Over the years, I have had the privilege of personally attend four film premieres of the James Bond films in London.

The World Is Not Enough (1999) at **Odeon Leicester Square, London
Die Another Day (2002) at Royal Albert Hall, London
Casino Royale (2006) at Odeon Leicester Square, London
Skyfall (2012) at Royal Albert Hall, London

**The movie theatre where most of the James Bond films has had its original premiere.

The atmosphere around each premiere is electric, that's the least I could say. Being a Bond fan and seeing all the cast in front of you is extra ordinary!

The DAD premiere was the most memorable one as four out of five actors who have played James Bond were in attendance and presented on stage.

Sadly, Sir Sean Connery couldn’t come due to film commitments in Prague (The League of extra ordinary Gentleman), but, despite that, it was the first time that so many Bonds got together in one place.

I must admit that the TWINE premiere also became memorable in a very sad way as I got to see "Q" alias Desmond Llewelyn for the first and unfortunately last time. Desmond tragically died in a car accident shortly thereafter.

I also had a ticket for the world premiere of Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) but instead of attending, I went to Madrid with my Argentinean girlfriend Laura.

Even though I missed the London premiere of GoldenEye (1995) I saw it when it opened in Sweden which coincidentally was on my birthday.

Since Licence to Kill (1989), I have never missed a Swedish James Bond film premiere where most openings have taken place at the same time:
0.07am.
