Stoke
In May 2002 I managed to convince my long-time friend Marcus, who now lives as a 'Lord' in London with his Swedish wife Lena, to drive me personally to the same golf club where the classic duel between Sir Sean Connery and Gert Fröbe in Goldfinger (1964) were filmed in 1964.

The areas around the club house of Stoke Park Country Club is incredibly beautiful and worth seeing for anyone I would say.

Calm atmosphere and full of luxury for those who wish to spend money! The grounds have also been used in the pre-title sequence of For Your Eyes Only (1981) when Sir Roger Moore as James Bond visit his wife Tracy's grave in the film.

The British films, Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) starring Hugh Grant and Renée Zellweger, and Layer Cake (2004) starring Daniel Craig, were partly filmed at Stoke Park as well.

The club house seen in Goldfinger is till very recognizable for the Bond fan although the pro shop has been removed as well as there are no statues left.

I did look for the remaining pieces of Goldfinger's golf ball but they were not to be found!
