James Bond film actors and behind the scenes crew

This section of FSWL is kind of personal as it features photos and stories from meeting and talking to the people who have contributed to the success of the James Bond 007 phenomenon. In most cases very friendly and down-to-earth people. Currently 260 names listed.

The list consist of actors, actresses, assistant directors, camera operators, cinematographers, composers, costume designers, directors, editors, executive producers, location managers, lyrics writers, marketing executives, music artists, production assistants, production controllers, production designers, production managers, production secretaries, publicists, script supervisors, screenwriters, special effects wizards, stunt coordinators and several stuntmen.

The section also includes meetings with official James Bond authors.

JANE SEYMOUR
Solitaire in LIVE AND LET DIE 1973

Our dear friend in Chicago, Colin Clark, met Jane Seymour in January 2004. He kindly provided the photo below and wrote this exclusively for FSWL and for which we are very grateful:
(Many thanks Colin!)

"Ms. Seymour was in Chicago promoting her children’s charity:
The Open Hearts Foundation.

At the time, Jane had an extensive line of home furnishings and decorator items being sold exclusively at Carson Pirie Scott Department Stores throughout the Midwest.

In celebration of Jane’s relationship with the store and in support of the charity, Carson Pirie Scott held an intimate reception at its Chicago flagship State Street location.

Because both my wife Kelly and I are employees of Carson Pirie Scott we were able to acquire the special tickets to this event along with fellow Ian Fleming Foundation board members, Doug Redenius and David Reinhardt.

Immediately on entering the reception we were greeted by Solitaire herself surrounded by a gallery of her paintings to be auctioned. All proceeds were being donated by Miss Seymour to the children’s charity. Mr. Reinhardt won the bid for one of Jane’s wonderful floral paintings.

The remaining space in the room was filled with vignettes showcasing Jane’s home decorating merchandise, also to be sold during the event with all proceeds going to her charity.

Jane Seymour graciously spoke to each attendee and accommodated every request for photos and autographs.

It was evident that the success of the evening was ordained by the stars and foretold by the cards."

Jane Seymour's birthday is February 15, we celebrate that here.
