James Bond film actors and behind the scenes crew

This section of FSWL is kind of personal as it features photos and stories from meeting and talking to the people who have contributed to the success of the James Bond 007 phenomenon. In most cases very friendly and down-to-earth people. Currently 263 names listed.

The list consist of actors, actresses, assistant directors, camera operators, cinematographers, composers, costume designers, directors, editors, executive producers, location managers, lyrics writers, marketing executives, music artists, production assistants, production controllers, production designers, production managers, production secretaries, publicists, script supervisors, screenwriters, special effects wizards, stunt coordinators and several stuntmen.

The section also includes meetings with official James Bond authors.

PAULINE HUME
End titles designer for most Bond films from THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (1987) and onwards

The first time I met the kind, friendly and open-hearted Pauline Hume was during Bond Girls Are Forever at Pinewood Studios on July 2, 2006. An event hosted by Bondstars.

Pauline is daughter of Bond cinematographer Alan Hume and Maurice Binder's assistant from the mid 1980's, assisting him in the design and editing of the opening titles to The Living Daylights (1987) and Licence to kill (1989). She was also title designer for Goldeneye: The Secret Life Of Ian Fleming (1989); and end title designer on Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002).

Pauline is the Bond Girl whose job it is to say "James Bond will return"!

Miss Hume shared a lot of memories working for and with legendary Bond title designer, Maurice Binder, which was very interesting to hear about. Ms. Hume said she was about to do the end titles for Casino Royale (2006) and estimated it would take about a month to finish the work.

More about Pauline Hume:
After studying Fine Art and Graphics at Art School, Pauline joined the Film Industry and became specialised as a Designer of Main & End Titles, Film Graphics and Visual Effects.

She is employed as Art Director by various companies and achieved recognition through a long association with the legendary Title Designer, Maurice Binder.

Her work is mainly for screen but when asked to provide something for the walls at Pinewood Studios, she supplied a series of graphics, simplified images of film icons and in the process, reawakened an interest in Art for Art’s sake.

Visit Pauline's official website for samples of her artwork.
