1 MAY 2012

The name's Bond... James Bond. After the incredibly successful series of covers celebrating the centenary of Ian Fleming in 2008, 2012 marks another big milestone for Bond fans everywhere, as Buckingham Covers celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the first Bond film. Commemorate the action, the suavity and the tongue-in-cheek of James Bond with their special 50th Anniversary covers!

Royal Mail are marking the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series with a very special limited edition commemorative sheet, featuring ten iconic Bond movie poster labels alongside ten, first class, Union Flag stamps. The ten posters were chosen by Bond’s most loyal fans.

• Limited signed edition to be confirmed
• Featuring all ten stamps from Royal Mail's Bond film poster issue, spread over two covers
• Cancelled with a specially designed 50th Anniversary, Bond Street postmark on the first day of issue (1 May, 2012)
• Celebrating 50 years of fantastic cinema

Limited Signed Edition:
A limited number of these covers will be available as a special signed edition. The signer for this cover is still to be confirmed. Buckingham Covers tirelessly search for the most relevant and best possible signers to make your covers and sheets that little bit more special, but as most of the celebrities who sign for us are very busy people and sign out of good will to help raise money for charity, some signatures take a little bit longer than others to arrange. Watch this space for an update later on.

The Covers:
The stamps from the sheet are spread out over two covers, with cover A bearing the following stamps: Dr. No (1962), From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) and Live and Let Die (1973).

Cover B bears: Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), The Living Daylights (1987), GoldenEye (1995) and Casino Royale (2006).

Editor's note:
