The first 23 James Bond films (including the non-EON Productions produced Never Say Never Again) starring Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan och Daniel Craig will be broadcast in High Definition on Swedish television in TV4.

The Bond marathon starts on 10th November and runs until 15th February 2015.

• DR NO (1962): TV4, November 10th, 0:00pm
British action film from 1962. James Bond is agent 007 and has been commissioned to solve the murder of another agent. The task takes him to Jamaica where he is helped by, among others, CIA agent Felix Leiter. Bond may be hot on your ears with both spindles and three contract killers are after him. He eventually manages to put together all the pieces of the murder and all evidence indicates that it is the evil Dr. No who is behind it.

• FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (1963): TV4, November 11th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1963. James Bond, also known as agent 007, is hunting for a Russian decryption engine, a lector. Bond must find the machine before the evil SPECTRE organization. Bond ends up in Istanbul on his quest, and after him he has Spectre’s agents who try to do everything to eliminate him.

• Thunderball (1965) (1965): TV4, November 12th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1965. Agent 007, James Bond, is invited to locate and recover two stolen nuclear warheads, which the evil SPECTRE organization has taken over. The whole world is held hostage and Bond travels to Nassau where he meets the beautiful Domino. The question is whether he will succeed in the mission and prevent millions of innocent dead.

• Goldfinger (1964) (1964): TV4, November 13th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1964. Bank of England suspects that Auric Goldfinger is behind major gold smuggling. Agent 007, James Bond, is called to investigate. He discovers that something much bigger than that is underway, and that Goldfinger is planning to take over the world.

• YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (1967): TV4, November 17th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1967. As an American and Russian space capsule is hijacked there are concerns that a third world war will break out. The British Government gives 007 the mission to try to prevent the catastrophe of what a war would mean. Bond discovers that the Spectre organization is behind the hijackings, but the motives are unclear. Bond must find the missing canisters before the two great powers will start a world war.

• ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE (1969): TV4, November 18th, 11:30pm
On Her Majesty's Secret Service from 1969 is the sixth film about the British agent James Bond. The Spectre organization is plotting diabolical plans and it is up to Bond to stop them. James Bond is working undercover to find out what the sinister organization Spectre, with the leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the lead, is planning. When M removes Bond from the mission to track down Blofeld, he leaves and continues his research on his own. He allies himself with the beautiful Teresa di Vicenzo and discovers that traces of Blofeld leads to Switzerland. It turns out that the Spectre is behind and takes out a weapon to bring biological warfare and now it's up 007 to stop them.

• DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER (1971): TV4, November 19th, 11:00pm
The British action film Diamonds Are Forever from 1971 is the seventh film about the British agent James Bond. A batch of diamonds disappears and intelligence becomes perplexed when they are not sold on the world market. A large batch of South African diamonds disappears and everyone gets puzzled when they do not show up on the world market. The British Secret Service selects James Bond to solve the mystery. Bond goes undercover infiltrating the diamond league and follows the diamonds to Los Angeles. Soon, he realizes that that his old arch-enemy Ernst Stavros Blofeld is involved. It turns out that Blofeld plans is more than just diamond smuggling.

• LIVE AND LET DIE (1973): TV4, November 20th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1973. When three British agents are killed, James Bond is ordered to investigate. The tracks lead him Kananga, Prime Minister of the island of San Monique. Bond travels to Harlem where he is captured by the gangster Mr Big and is taken to a basement. He manages to escape and later receives help from Felix Leiter in his pursuit for Kananga and Mr Big.

• THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1974): TV4, November 24th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1974. MI6 receives a package with a golden bullet that has 007 engraved on it and suspects that the assassin Scaramanga, known as the man with the golden gun, had been asked to kill Bond. They decide to immediately cancel the mission Bond is out on and send him away on holiday. But during his vacation Bond manage to locate the manufacturer of Scaramanga’s golden bullet which leads him to Scaramanga's mistress. Bond does not realize that Scaramanga is looking for the researcher from Bond's previous mission. He wants him because of his invention that may be the solution to the world's energy crisis.

• THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977): TV4, November 25th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1977. A British nuclear submarine disappears without a trace and Bond is assigned to find out what has happened. Meanwhile, a Russian submarine disappears and KGB sends out their top female agent Anya Amasova to investigate. Both sides believe that it is the other one that is behind the thefts but soon it becomes clear that none of them has anything to do with what has happened. The tracks leads them to the wealthy shipping magnate Karl Stromberg who has a marine research laboratory outside of Sardinia. MI6 and the KGB decide to cooperate and Bond and Amasova discover that Stromberg's plan is far more sinister than they ever imagined.

• MOONRAKER (1979): TV4, November 26th, 11:00pm
British action film from 1979. The mad industrial magnate Hugo Drax has a desire to eradicate all human life on earth, but first he wants to evacuate a dozen perfect human beings to a base in orbit. His plan is that they shall return to earth with genetically superior people. To be able to put his plan into action, he must steal a space shuttle. James Bond is assigned to investigate the disappearance of the capsule which takes him to Venice. Together with CIA agent Holly Goodhead, he tries to stop Drax's and his plans.

• FOR YOUR EYES ONLY (1981): TV4, November 27th, 11:00pm
British action from 1981. When a British spy ship sinks, off the coast of Albania, marine biologist Sir Havelock is sent there. The vessel was equipped with key military transmitters which could order missile attacks from British submarines and Havelock is ordered to try to locate the vessel.
As Havelock and his wife is murdered, Bond get the task of finding the wreck, find out who is behind the murder of the Havelock’s and prevent the transmitters from ending up in the wrong hands. He begins with a trip to Greece where he finds out it’s hard to cope with Havelock’s daughter Melina as she wants to avenge her parent’s death.

• NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN (1983): TV4, December 1, 11:00pm
British action from 1983. Agent 007, also known as James Bond, is training hard and has checked into a health farm outside London. Meanwhile, two employees of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, head of the crime syndicate Spectre, are stealing two nuclear loaded cruising missiles. The plan for Spectre is to use these missiles in order to blackmail the whole world.
The new head of the British Secret Service doubts Bond's methods and lifestyle, but he has no other choice and order 007 to help them against Blofeld. The hunt takes Bond to the Bahamas, Monte Carlo and North Africa.

• OCTOPUSSY (1983): TV4, December 2, 11:00pm
British action from 1983. James Bond barely manage to escape from Latin America and arrive back in England before being sent out on a new mission.
A Fabergé egg that a former agent managed to hand over to the English embassy, before he was killed, has proved to be false. The real egg will be sold on an exclusive auction at Christe’s in London. Bond manage to switch the eggs during the auction and locate the buyer, an Afghan prince who calls himself Kamal. The tracks lead Bond to India and a smuggler queen called Octopussy. But, the jewellery smuggling turns out to be a cover for a much worse plan to start another world war.

• A VIEW TO A KILL (1985): TV4, December 3, 11:00pm
British action from 1985. Psychopath Max Zorin and his accomplices plan to blow up the American place for manufacturing microchip, Silicon Valley. James Bond is assigned to stop the evil Zorin but it turns out to be a difficult task for Bond that takes him to both Siberia and Paris.

• THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (1987): TV4, December 4, 11:00pm
"Bond is assigned to ensure that the high-ranked Russian general Koskov’s defection to the West goes smoothly. When Bond and Koskov are about to escape, Bond discovers a beautiful cellist who has a rifle sighted on the General. But the girl does not kill him. The escape to the West is a success, but just when Koskov has informed what the KGB General Pushkin is up to, KGB captures Koskov. Bond suspect that everything was planned from the start and decides to contact Kara to find out what Koskov’s actual plan is."

• LICENCE TO KILL (1989): TV4, December 28th, 9:00pm
"The powerful drug dealer Franz Sanchez escapes from prison, maim Bond's best friend, Felix Leiter, and kills his wife just after their wedding. Agent 007 goes for revenge, but M believes that Bond is too emotionally involved in the case and revokes his license to kill and gives him a different, less compelling mission. This causes Bond to leave the service and launch a personal vendetta against Sanchez by infiltrating his organization. He gets help from another one of Leiter’s good friends, Pam Bouvier."

• GOLDENEYE (1995): TV4, January 4th 2015, 9:00pm
"Agent James Bond is on a mission with Alec Trevelyan (006) to blow up a Russian chemical weapons factory. Trevelyan is captured by General Ourumov. Bond is forced to choose between saving his friend or complete the mission. Trevelyan tells Bond to blow up the base, which Bond does.

Nine years later, Bond is on his way to Monaco. There he meets Xenia Onatopp and flirts with her. She leaves the casino, however, with an admiral. The next day, she and Ourumov steal a helicopter that they use to blow up a base in Siberia in order to get access to a satellite weapon, GoldenEye. Only two people survive the attack on the base, computer experts Natalya Simonova and Boris Grishenko."

• TOMORROW NEVER DIES (1997): TV4, January 11th 2015, 9:00pm
"Media mogul Elliot Carver is not content just to sell news through his newspaper Tomorrow and its globe-spanning satellite network - he also creates them. Carver's first step to create a world in crisis, by his high-tech battleship sinking a British ship in the South China Sea and then blame the Chinese. As tension rises between East and West sends his British agent James Bond to infiltrate a media party that Carver gives in Hamburg.

Bond hits with Carver's beautiful wife, Paris, which he previously had a relationship with. He also makes the acquaintance of Wai Lin from the People's Security Force in Beijing. By creating a war between Britain and China are planning Carver to place a Chinese general that China's next leader. In return, he shall give Carver monopoly on radio and television broadcasts in China. Along with Wai Lin succeed Bond uncover Carver and prevent a third world war."

• THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (1999): TV4, January 18th, 9:00pm
"A large British businessman and friend of M, Sir Robert King, are assassinated inside the MI6 headquarters in London. M sends its agents on the hunt for the killer. When Agent 007 is assigned to protect the victim's daughter, Elektra, a hot oil heiress, he is thrown into a passionate and colourful adventure. He is against one of his greatest enemies, Renard, a ruthless high-tech terrorist, with a total inability to feel pain makes him a formidable enemy, virtually unstoppable. Luckily, Bond gets help from the female scientist, Dr. Christmas Jones."

• DIE ANOTHER DAY (2002): TV4, January 25th, 9:00pm
"James Bond's uses a glider to get into the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea. Where "wash" the North Korean Colonel Moon diamonds to buy weapons. Unmasked as a spy Bond Moons disrupt operations and wounded his henchman Zao. Moon Dog Bond in a hovercraft and drive over a cliff and is considered dead. Bond may be in over a year in North Korean prison before he is extradited to Zao, imprisoned in the West.

Bond is recovering in the vicinity of Hong Kong. His boss, M, revokes Bond's license to kill when he suspects that Bond secrets revealed in captivity. Determined to clear his name escapes Bond and swimming to Hong Kong, where he hears that Zao is active. Bond gets a tip of the Chinese secret police and following Zao to Cuba. At a private clinic, he learns that Zao undergoes a treatment to change their appearance. Bond hits the American agent Jinx Zao who is also on the trail. After a battle with Bond, Zao manage to escape."

• CASINO ROYALE (2006): TV4, February 1, 9:00pm
"James Bond's first mission as 007 leads him to Le Chiffre, banker to the world's terrorists. In order to stop him and to destroy the terrorist network Bond must defeat Le Chiffre in a high stakes poker game at Casino Royale.

At first, Bond is annoyed by the fact that beautiful British Governor official, Vesper Lynd, is assigned to deliver his stake for the game and supervise over the government's money. Together, they survive a series of deadly attacks, all carried out by Le Chiffre and his men, an attraction evolves between the two, leading them both to further danger and events occur that change Bond's life forever."

• QUANTUM OF SOLACE (2008): TV4, February 8th, 9:00pm
"Bond and M is on the tracks of a murky international network. After an assassination attempt on M, all trails leads to Dominic Greene. The "environmental developer" Greene is determined to usurp an abandoned area of Bolivia in exchange for helping a strong man to carry out a coup. CIA condones and only Bond can stop Greene. M wonders if she can trust and rely on Bond, or if he is driven by revenge."
