Skyfall Sweden box office succes 2012

Box-office success for Skyfall (2012) in Sweden! SKYFALL attracted large crowds to theaters during its opening weekend and go straight to number one at Biotoppen.

The film was seen by 173,981 people on 222 screens across the country, making SKYFALL the most watched film during an opening weekend in 2012.

The recorded ticket revenues amounted to 18,977,048 SEK, which means that the film's opening weekend is the highest grossing opening weekend ever for a Bond film in Sweden.

It's fantastic and most rewarding that SKYFALL, with our own Ola Rapace in one of the roles, has been so well received by both critics and moviegoers, says Eva Svendenius, Head of Distribution for SF Film.

SKYFALL is the 23rd film about Ian Fleming's beloved spy, agent 007.

About the film:
In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
