Cinema Retro magazine 24
From Sweden with Love preview issue 24 (volume 8) of Cinema Retro, The Essential Guide to films of the 1960's and 1970's, edited by our good friends, Lee Pfeiffer and Dave Worrall. The new issue is available in September. Don't miss it.

Cinema Retro ends the year with three 40th anniversary celebrations of classic movies - and three photo-filled features on - The Poseidon Adventure (1972), Hitchcock's Frenzy (1972), and John Boorman's Deliverance (1972). As per usual, these are filled with facts, anecdotes and rare photos from behind-the-scenes, many never seen before, including deleted scenes from Frenzy!

But that's not all. Dean Brierly has a new column debuting featuring crime films from around the world, Adrian Smith concludes his "More Sex Please, We're British" and the fiendish world of OO7's arch-enemy, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

All of this, plus Raymond Benson's Top Ten movies of 1983, Mark Mawston's Desert Island Flicks and the regular round-up of book, CD soundtrack and DVD reviews.

"Cinema Retro is a must for fans of movies from the ‘60s and ‘70s – and they didn’t have to pay me to say that!”- Sir Roger Moore KBE
