Since the new miniseries Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond premieres this month (in Sweden on HBO Nordic on February 13th) it's about time to list Dominic Cooper as one of many Bond personalities FSWL has met over the years.

I bumped into Dominic at the gala premiere of Mamma Mia at Rival in Stockholm on 4th of July 2008. Cooper was there along with other members of the cast & crew for the film (including Pierce Brosnan) and all members of ABBA. To say the least, an unforgettable day!

About Dominic Cooper:
Dominic Cooper (born 1978) is an English actor who studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) where he graduated in 2000. Cooper's career took off after his central role in the critically acclaimed theatrical AND film version of the period drama, The History Boys (2006). Cooper was nominated for a BAFTA for most promising newcomer in 2006 and was nominated for an award for Best Supporting Actor by the British Film Critics for his work on the film version of The History Boys.

Dominic has also made his mark in Hollywood with roles in big productions. In addition to Mamma Mia mentioned above, The Duchess (2008) and The Devil's Double (2011). This year he can be seen as agent Carter in the new Marvel movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Need for Speed with Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad.

In 2016 he can, if all goes as planned, be seen in another film adaptation of a popular game, the upcoming blockbuster Warcraft.

James Bond continuation novelists after Ian Fleming on FSWL:
>Charlie Higson (five books between 2005 and 2008)
>Jeffery Deaver (one book, Carte Blanche 2011)
>Raymond Benson (nine books & three short stories, 1997-2002)
>William Boyd (one book, the latest, Solo 2013)
