James Bond 007: GoldenEye is designed exclusively for Ninetendo Wii and allows players to channel Daniel Craig´s lethal and gritty James Bond in an innovative, modern take on the legendary James Bond adventure.

The game features an original story developed by legendary screenwriter Bruce Feirstein who co-wrote the screenplay for GoldenEye (1995) with Michael France. Feirstein also wrote the screenplay for Tomorrow Never Dies (1997).

Activision acquired the video game license rights to the James Bond franchise on May 3, 2006 (after Electronic Arts who had had them since Rare created the game - GOLDENEYE - for Nintendo) and they hold the rights until 2014. The license allows Activision develop and publish video games based on the entire EON back-catalog of James Bond movies including non-movie based games.

Daniel Craig does the voice and likeness for James Bond. The voice of M is done by no other than the film version actress - Dame Judi Dench.
