Tom Jones Visit Stockholm For Concert

The legendary artist Sir Tom Jones (singer of the theme song for Thunderball (1965)) is coming to Stockholm for a concert at Gröna Lund on June 11, 2014, and FSWL will be there to cover it.

The bull from Wales, Sir Tom Jones, has had a great career spanning 50 years, sold over 100 million albums and been knighted by the Queen of England. He is simply one of the greatest artists of our time. Songs like "It's not unusual", "She's a Lady", "Green, green grass of home" and "Sex Bomb" has made him an icon in the music industry.

With collaborations including The Cardigans and Robbie Williams and his never-ending energy, Tom Jones still continues to develop his music and find new audiences. In 2012 he released his 40th album, Spirit in the room, where he performs songs written by the likes of Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen and Paul McCartney.

Strangely, Sir Tom has never performed at Gröna Lund before they are obviously immensely proud that Tom Jones gives his first concert at Gröna Lund's main stage on June 11 at 8:00pm.

Ticket price: 110 SEK in admission fee (220 SEK between 6pm-8.30pm) or 240 SEK for Gröna Kortet season ticket, which gives you free admission to all concerts at Gröna Lund.

• In 2013 a new visitor record was set with 1 500 380 guests in the park
• The amusement park has 30 attractions, 16 fun games, 20 food kiosks and 6 restaurants
• The most popular attraction is the Jetline roller coaster with nearly 1 million rides per year
• If you take the Jetline when it rains it goes a little faster than usual
• Throughout the 2013 season 298 008 scoops of ice cream was served, 190 353 burgers, 10.3 Million candy belts and 63 043 popcorn cones
• Bob Marley still holds the attendance record (from 1980) when 32 000 people came to listen to his concert
• On average, 5 000 profits is handed out every day and of these, about 2 tons of candy
