Sean Connery In His Own Words BBC Four
To mark Sean Connery's 85th birthday, BBC Scotland has produced a special hour long tribute to the first 007 titled Sean Connery: In His Own Words. The programme will air on BBC Four on Tuesday 25th August at 10pm.

Featuring archive interviews with Sean Connery from over 50 years in the business. Friends, actors and directors including Pierce Brosnan, Robert Carlyle, Dougray Scott, Laurence Fishburne, Terry Gilliam, Charlie Higson and George Lucas pay tribute to Scotland's greatest movie star as he celebrates his 85th birthday.

Editor's note:
In August 2008, Sean Connery published his book, Being A Scot. In July 2009 the book was published in paperback.

In April 2012, Sir Billi (voiced by Sean Connery), premiered in USA at the Sonoma International Film Festival. In September 2013, Sir Billi gets its UK cinema release and on DVD release thanks to Kaleidoscope Entertainment.
