Today, at 8.45am, Action! was called for the first time on the 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall (2012), on location in London.

The production will take the cast and crew to various places around the world, from London and Pinewood Studios to Scotland, Istanbul and Shanghai.

In Skyfall, Daniel Craig portrays James Bond for the third time. He is joined by an extremely talented cast including Javier Bardem, Judi Dench (plays "M" for the 7th time in the series), Naomie Harris (Eve, obviously a field agent), Berenice Marlohe (Severin, a glamorous and enigmatic character), Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear (reprises the role as "Bill Tanner" which he played in Quantum of Solace).

The film is being directed by acclaimed British director Sam Mendes and produced by Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions headed by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

"In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."
