Synopsis: (translated to English by Anders Frejdh)
Disappeared, vanished. The words, empty of meaning, echo in Ellen’s brain as she hangs up the telephone. Jamie, her 14 year-old daughter, an au pair girl in Paris, has been missing for ten days.
A few weeks later, the French police close the case: the girl has indeed vanished, leaving no trace.

Ellen refuses to lose hope, even though her husband believes their daughter is dead. Alone, she decides to pursue the investigation.

Danger lurks, as Ellen, unknowingly, is swept towards the truth. Will she be able to find her daughter before it is too late?
