FSWL's preview of the 64-page issue #34 (volume 12) of Cinema Retro, THE essential guide to films of the 1960's and 1970's from Lee Pfeiffer and Dave Worrall.

The first Cinema Retro magazine of 2016 is another jam-packed issue with features and photos about movies from our favourite era!

A conclusion of Steve Rubin's epic 'Making of The Bridge at Remagen', and an exclusive interview with on-set stills photographer Keith Hamshere who discusses working with and on Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).

Robert Sellers looks back at Richard Lester's Musketeer films, Gareth Owen recalls the 40th Anniversary James Bond party at Pinewood studios, including photos of the Die Another Day sets on the backlot, and Dawn Dabell delves into the cinematic world of 'Women at War'.

And if that's not enough, an exclusive interview with Jan Watson, one of the Matt Helm 'Slaygirls', Tim Greaves remembers the Amicus classic Dr Terror's House of Horrors (1965), Matthew Field meets James Bond himself - George Lazenby on location at Piz Gloria (Schilthorn), and Brian Davidson recalls a 'teenage moment' remembering nudie flick Au Pair Girls (1972).

All of this, plus Raymond Benson recalls the films of 1953, a report from the Royal World premiere of Spectre in London, and the usual round-up of CD, book and DVD reviews.

Editor's Note:
FSWL readers Steve Rubin is the author The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia, Robert Sellers the author of The Battle for Bond, Tim Greaves the author of The Bond Women, Matthew Field (with Ajay Chowdhury) the author Some Kind of Hero: The Remarkable Story of the James Bond films, and Raymond Benson the author of six official James Bond novels.
