OPENING TIMES

Saturday, April 28: 11.00pm - 7.00pm
Sunday, April 29: 11.00pm - 5.00pm

This is the 32nd edition of Chiller Fest in New Jersey.

James Bond related actresses attending this event include:
• Luciana Paluzzi
Actress Luciana Paluzzi was one of many voluptuous Italian brunettes groomed for international stardom in the wake of Gina Lollobrigida. Working both sides of the Atlantic in the '50s in such films as Three Coins in the Fountain (1954) and Sea Fury (1958), Ms. Paluzzi was given a chance at American TV stardom in the role of Simone Genet on the 1959 espionage weekly Five Fingers.

In 1965, she met the Bond producers to be considered for the lead girl Domino Derval in Thunderball. While that role eventually went to former Miss France, Claudine Auger, director Terence Young offered her the villainess role of Fiona Volpe - one of the few women on this planet able to resist the charms of Mr. Bond; perhaps as punishment for this, Fiona is killed on the dance floor by her own companions, whereupon James deposits her body at a nearby table and says "Do you mind if my partner sits this one out? She's just dead."

This box-office blockbuster enabled Luciana Paluzzi to extend her European starring career well into the '70s in both the US and Europe, with films such as Captain Nemo And The Underwater City (1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), The Klansman (1974) and The Greek Tycoon (1978).

• Maryam d'Abo
Born in London to a Dutch father and Georgian mother, Maryam grew up in Paris and Geneva. She is cousin of singer Mike d’Abo and second cousin of his daughter Olivia d’Abo.

Entering the film business in 1983 with Xtro, Maryam swiftly clocked up credits in productions including Master Of The Game (mini-series), Until September, White Nights and Out Of Africa before becoming involved in the screen tests of a new James Bond for The Living Daylights – recreating a scene from the film From Russia With Love with would-be 007s.

So impressed were the producers and director, that they decided Maryam was perfect casting for the role of Kara Milovy.

Since her time as a Bond girl she has worked continuously in film and television, including: Leon The Pig Farmer, Solitaire For Two, The Browning Version, Doctor Zhivago (mini-series) and Helen Of Troy. She also guest starred in episodes of Murder She Wrote, Tales From The Crypt and Space Precinct.

In 2002 she wrote and produced a documentary called Bond Girls Are Forever, featuring interviews with the most famous and most beautiful Bond girls from Ursula Andress to Halle Berry.

NOTE: Guests will appear all days unless otherwise noted. All appearances are tentative, subject to availability.
