I was lucky to go to Gothenburg on March 13th 2004 with my Swiss friend, Zac, for the Scandinavian SciFi convention held at the Swedish Exhibition there.

This convention is much smaller compared to the English ones I have attended, but, the chance of meeting John Rhys-Davies, alias General Pushkin in The Living Daylights (1987), in person was a good reason for us to go!

Rhys Davies has made plenty of other classic movies like 'Ivanhoe', 'Indiana Jones' and most recently 'Lord of the Rings'.

He turned out to be a most pleasant gentleman to meet and talk to, very friendly towards all the fans although the queuing bunch of people for him was huge, but worth waiting for I think.
